Hi !
You've stumbled upon the cruising page for Fat Chance. Fat Chance
is our new (to us) 1984 Kadey Krogen Manatee
that we just purchased. This page is a way for family, friends and
our readers to keep up with our antics and whereabouts, as well a site
for Manatee owners to see some of our projects and upgrades.
Life is short and precious, hence, we're trying
our best to make the most of it by enjoying the things that we love.
Those things include traveling, seeing old friends, making new ones, boating, diving in warm
clear blue waters, good food... and the list goes on and on... Cruising ties all
of those things together for us, making it a dream that we work hard to sustain.
For our families, friends and visitors; we hope that you have fun
following our adventures on Fat Chance.
Enjoy!
The latest update...
We raced down the coast,
stopping only long enough to see some friends in Melbourne, install a
new raw water pump on the diesel and do our final provisioning.
Then as luck would have it, the weather cooperated for a crossing
just as we were ready and the weather turned nice! It's been sunny
and in the mid 70s to low 80s since we crossed. About time!
YeeHA!
Read and see all of the
pictures in our second Log.
