Construction
The Manatee hull and cabin are of fiberglass sandwich construction with closed-cell PVC foam core; heavy hand lay-up using mat and roving. The state of the art construction is one of the most enduring and safest afloat. (closed-cell PVC foam does not deteriorate or absorb water. The composite structure serves both as a buoyancy material and shock, sound and temperature insulator. It rides quiet, increases impact strength and eliminates condensation build-up inside the hull. All joiner work, paneling, beam caps and cabinetry are teak.

Saloon
The saloon has no built-ins allowing for household furniture. There are large opening windows port and starboard, double doors leading to the aft deck and blinds on all windows. To port is a Flexsteel Majicbed convertible sofa. To starboard is a built-in desk and two (2) wicker chairs.

Galley
The galley is located forward of the saloon on the port side. There is a large pass through to the saloon that can be closed if desired. The galley components consist of a Princess 3 burner propane stove with oven, microwave oven, Norcold dual voltage refrigerator/freezer (2007), double stainless steel sink and a large opening window.

Master Stateroom
The stateroom is located forward and is one of the real features of a Manatee. There is a true queen sized island berth with custom cover, 2 reading lamps, a lighted mirrored vanity with bench seat, a huge hanging locker, built-in book shelves, generous drawer and locker storage, 4 opening ports and an overhead hatch.

Head
The head is opposite the galley. It features a large stall shower, Lectra/San head, stainless steel basin and a large opening window.

Pilothouse
The pilothouse is accessed from the aft deck and is located at the forward end of the boat deck. There is a large U-shaped seating area with custom cushions, fiberglass hardtop with overhead hatch, and access doors port and starboard. The hardtop has been raised to provide additional headroom. The enclosure, windows and screens, was new in 2008. There is also a new helm chair and reconfigured helm console.
