Glad I only gaffed the Skipjack...

We were broad reaching up the Exuma Sound with only the Screecher up.  Fishing line was out and as usual we hooked something.  It was Deb's turn to haul the fish in and so I videoed the somewhat lack luster action.  The fish wasn't jumping or peeling off line... or much of anything else.  But Deb was enjoying herself.  At the boat I went to gaff what, in the rippled water, looked like a mackerel and low and behold what did I pull up but a small Skipjack Tuna.  He was quickly cut into 1.5" steaks that we marinated and grilled up a couple of hours later.
